UK rental company Hire Safe Solutions takes first 82m Zoomlion boom

UK rental company Hire Safe Solutions is the first UK customer for Zoomlion Access’s record-breaking 82.3m working height ZT82J telescopic boom lift.

The machine has already arrived in the UK and will enter Hire Safe’s fleet as part of a wider €20 million order with the Chinese OEM, which will see 114 Zoomlion machines added to its fleet this year with a further 300 units scheduled for 2026/7.

The initial order is for 50 scissor lifts and 64 booms, including the ZT82J as well as ZT58J and ZT72J models.

Hire Safe, which is based in Leamington Spa and Runcor=n, UK, said; “The Zoomlion ZT82J marks yet another world-first for Hire Safe Solutions, solidifying our reputation as pioneers in bringing the most advanced and capable equipment to the market.”

Combined with a maximum platform capacity of 454kg, the ZT82J stands is the highest telescopic boom lift currently available on the market. It is designed to meet challenges projects in construction, petrochemical, and renewable energy applications.

The ZT82J will be available for rental across Western Europe and is expected to be used in large infrastructure and wind energy projects, where extreme height and reliability are critical.
