ALH retracts photo caption

20 July 2010

A June 21, 2010 story posted on KHL.com titled "Trial finds 'Spiderlift' infringes on Spider trademark" featured a photo of a Teupen platform and an incorrect caption. Due to a Federal Judge's ruling that the term "spiderlift" is not generic for these types of aerials, the use of the word thus infringes on the Spider trademark of SafeWorks, LLC. See SafeWorks, LLC v. Teupen America, LLC, No. 08-01219 (W.D. Wash.) (Ailly, J.) for more.
