PB Rises To 22.5 M

PB Lifttechnik has increased the maximum working height of its range of industrial scissors by 3 m with the S225–12 E, launched at Bauma in April. The 22.5 m working height, 9500 kg machine has a 3.98 by 1.19 m platform and a 450 kg payload. The German company, which exports throughout Europe, told AI that told AI that production of this new machine is sold out until early 2008.

Transport dimensions are 4.14 m long and 1.2 m wide, and its 48 V, 560 Ahr batteries power it at speeds up to 2.4 km/h over interior surfaces. The company, based in Oberbechingen, Germany, plans to further expand its product line by releasing early in 2008 a model on a 4WD, rough–terrain chassis with outriggers.
