Leading the new division will be Enrique Garcia Delgado, who is transitioning from his current role as regional sales director – Europe for Snorkel, to become the managing director of Ahern Iberica. Delgado has more than 17 years’ experience in the access industry, having held positions in both sales and technical service.

The company is also expanding its sales team and is looking for a territory manager for Benelux, Switzerland, France and West Africa, and a territory Manager for Eastern Europe. Interested parties can visit the Snorkel stand during Bauma at FS.1002/3 for an informal discussion, says the company.

Matthew Elvin, CEO, Snorkel said, “The decision to launch Ahern Iberica will enable us to better support our customer base in Spain, with faster access to new product inventory, spare parts and a wider field service network. Enrique has a significant knowledge of this market and is the right person to build upon the foundations that we have in place already, ensuring that we deliver the very best in customer support.”

Enrique Garcia added, “I am really looking forward to the new challenges ahead leading Ahern Iberica. While I will certainly miss working with our valued customers and dealers Europe-wide, I believe we can truly deliver an industry-leading service to our Spanish customers through this new dedicated entity.”
