Klubb acquires Belgian distributor
14 December 2021
French vehicle mount manufacturer Klubb has acquired its Belgian distributor, Mondia Wallonie.

With 60 years of experience in the lifting sector, Mondia Wallonnie is a longstanding player in the Belgian market, as distributor and maintenance provider for Potain and Speed cranes, as well as Klubb aerial platforms, mounted on vehicles.
Mondia Wallonie was one of the first companies to distribute Klubb’s equipment in its territory. For more than four years, sales have continued to develop, with Klubb and Mondia deciding to join forces to further accelerate their growth.
The deal sees Klubb continue to consolidate its distribution network, following the acquisition of its UK-based distributor CPL in 2017. Klubb said Mondia Wallonie would benefit from investment from the group to help develop its activity.
Thierry Pirenne, the current director of Mondia, and his entire team, will continue to lead the company.

Julien Bourrellis, president of Klubb Group, said, “We are very happy with this transaction which will allow the two companies to capitalise on strong synergies to accelerate sales in Belgium. Mondia Wallonie was one of the first companies to believe in Klubb products and this acquisition represents the logical continuation of a solid and lasting relationship between the two companies.”
