Software company Point of Rental has appointed Emad Georgy as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

US-based Georgy, who is the first CTO in the company’s history, has also held CTO and technology executive positions elsewhere, including in the financial sector with Experian and Wolters Kluwer-CCH.

He also founded NeoPath, the first global AI implementation agency of its kind.

In his new role with Point of Rental, he will focus on developing people and helping the company build deeper connections with its customers to form “long-lasting relationships and long-lasting technology solutions that serve others.”

Point of Rental described Georgy as a transformative technology leader that is known for his “hands-on approach and execution-focused leadership, with a passion for scaling teams, developing innovative solutions, and growing leaders to drive meaningful change.”

It said his appointment will enable it to take its investment in “people-centered technology to a new level” and underscores its commitment to embracing forward-thinking solutions and enhancing its rental software offerings.

Georgy said, “Technology is the foundation of how businesses thrive today, and Point of Rental is ready to set new benchmarks in our industry,” said Emad. “I’m looking forward to working with our team to build long-lasting solutions that make people’s lives better.”

Wayne Harris, Point of Rental CEO, added, “Emad’s appointment is a pivotal moment for us. His deep understanding of technology’s potential and proven track record of success will propel us into an exciting future. We can’t wait to see the innovation he’ll inspire.”
