Roberto Carboni: 1962 - 2025
31 March 2025
We can confirm the sad news that Roberto Carboni, the press officer at Italy’s Multitel Pagliero, has died.

Carboni, who had worked at Italy-based Multitel since 2021, passed away suddenly on Thursday last week (27 March) following a medical procedure.
According to the company he was a skilled copywriter and press officer, with a deep knowledge of the aerial lift and earthmoving industries, having provided his skills for a range of companies, including rental company Venpa, JCB, JLG and Hitachi, over more than 20 years.
“He approached these two worlds by following various well-known players and brands and his pen wrote rivers of words,” said an industry colleague. “His ability to start with two words and build a world around them was enviable. His profound culture was reflected in his texts.”
The colleague, who preffered not to be named, added that Carboni was a man of few words, and was “always professional, discreet and helpful. His creative ideas developed over the years in marketing agencies such as Imprima and Hana-bi generated brands, projects and advertising campaigns that are still in the history of major brands in other sectors too.”
He leaves behind a wife, daughter and son.
