AGGCON expands rental operations to Bhutan

Indian rental company AGGCON has won rental supply contract for a project in Bhutan. It is the company’s first work outside India and is part of the company’s expansion plans for South Asia and other international markets.

AGGCON said it saw “significant opportunities to support major projects” as infrastructure development accelerates across the region. It is looking at opportunities in South Asia, the Middle East and other markets.

Jitender Aggarwal, chairman and managing director of New Delhi-based AGGCON, said; “We believe inbuilding partnerships. Bhutan represents much more than our first international project; it is our first international partnership.

“We see this as an opportunity not only to expand our presence, but also to contribute to Bhutan’s infrastructure development.”

Aggarwal said the company’s international journey was just beginning; “Equipment rental offers an efficient and sustainable model for infrastructure development, enabling companies to access modern equipment without the significant capital investment associated with ownership, while improving equipment utilisation.

“Our objective is not simply to send equipment overseas; we want to build AGGCON into a trusted equipment rental partner for major infrastructure projects globally”.

AGGCON said it believes that professional equipment rental will play an increasingly important role in helping contractors and infrastructure companies execute projects, while reducing the need to own, operate and maintain large equipment fleets.
