Alayan Rentals has acquired G.L. Noleggi e Servizi, a rental business with two locations in Perugia, central Italy.

G.L. Noleggi has been operating for more than 10 years, renting site equipment, aerial platforms and earthmoving machinery, led by Giacinto Ceraso and Laura Mencaroni.

Alayan, which is the rental division of TESYA Group, said the deal was part of its wider strategy for growth growth, including expanding its geographical coverage.

Founded earlier this year, Alayan integrates the companies of TESYA’s Rental Service Division, including CGTE (Italy), Emerent and Finanzauto Rental (both in Spain) and the more recently created Alayan Emerent Máquinas e Equipamentos in Portugal.

Vincent Albasini, CEO of Alayan Rentals S.p.A., said; “This acquisition is not only a step of growth, but a choice that strengthens our identity: to be close to the customer, to value people, and to continue to build a solid and recognized leadership in the market.”

Ceraso and Mencaroni, in a joint statement, said; “We have known Alayan for some time now. After a period of discussion and preparation, we are pleased to become part of this great team with whom we feel we share fundamental values. We are ready to start this new phase together with our new colleagues.”

In May, TESYA said Alayan’s aim was to consolidate a leadership role in Southern Europe’s rental sector with a growth plan involving both organic growth and acquisitions. It will invest €100 million in 2025 alone.

Alayan aims to open seven new branches in 2025 - three in Italy and four in the Iberian Peninsula - and is targeting a turnover of approximately €220 million, a 20% increase from 2024.
