AlmacTech AJ Line AlmacTech AJ Line

The official debut of the new brand’s AJ-Line will take place at the GIS show in Piacenza, Italy later this month and marks the first time company has produced articulated wheeled booms. “This is not simply an expansion beyond tracked solutions, it represents a cultural shift,” said the company”.

The AJ-Line was born from direct dialogue with dealers and rental companies, who called for machines that are simple, reliable, and easy to operate, said Almac, which responded with a range of features designed to combine comfort with practical technological solutions.

Among the innovations introduced:

  • Automatic basket leveling, for stability and safety in any condition.
  • Active LED interface, guiding the operator with clear and intuitive visual feedback.
  • Simultaneous hydraulic movements with automatic end-of-stroke deceleration, for smooth and precise maneuverability.
  • Go-Home function, automatically initiating the boom’s folding sequence.
  • Wall function, controlling telescopic extension when working near vertical obstacles.
  • Automatic jib folding, reducing transport dimensions and setup times.
  • New Jib Plus with +/-65° lateral rotation, for highly precise aerial maneuvers.
  • Heavy-duty steel covers, for maximum durability and protection.

The first two models, the AJ 15 and AJ 17, will available by the end of 2025 and will be followed by a new generation of tracked articulated boom lifts will follow.

Andrea Artoni, CEO of Almac, said, “With AlmacTech we are not simply launching a new line of machines—we are starting a journey. The AJ-Line embodies our vision of how a conventional product can be transformed into a new working experience. For us, innovation means listening to the market and turning needs into solutions that simplify, protect, and empower operators. That is what will make the difference for our partners and for everyone working at height.”
