AlmaCrawler and Multitel Pagliero have joined forces to launch a new series based on technologies from both companies.

The first model in the Italian manufacturers’ UltraLight series, the JIBBI U-1570 is produced using advanced and strong aluminum alloy developed by Multitel and commonly used in its truck mounted products.

Combined with AlmaCrawler’s innovative bi-levelling undercarriage, the newly-launched, self-propelled telescopic tracked platform has a working height of more than 15m and a total weight of less than 2,900kg. It is able to travel while the basket is raised  on uneven ground and steep slopes of up to 22°, using AlmaCrawler’s dynamic leveling technology.

With a design aimed at the needs of rental companies, the UltraLight JIBBI 1570 provides a maximum outreach of 8.4m, while its variable undercarriage track width of 1.35m, 1.90m, 2.15m or 2.45m, makes working in narrow spaces easier.

The model is equipped with a compact three-cylinder 14.1kW Yanmar diesel engine, while its 1.4m-wide basket is designed to stay within the width of the machine. The basket offers +/- 90° rotation and a maximum capacity of 250kg.

According the manufacturer, “The JIBBI U-1570 represents a further step forward within the JT range. Designed specifically for both the rental and end-user markets, it presents itself as an easily-transportable, self-levelling platform with telescopic boom, which is versatile and well-suited for multiple applications”.

The model will be available from the beginning of the second quarter this year.
