Italian based self-levelling tracked platform specialist Almacrawler is opening a new subsidiary in the UK.

The launch of Almac Atlantic, represents the next step in the company’s ambitious global growth plans, which has included the formation of Almac Pacific in 2018, based in Sydney, Australia.

The new branch in Cambridgeshire, situated to the north of London, will cater to the UK base of Almac customers and expand the company’s sales and service operations.

Almacrawler’s general manager, Andrea Artoni said, “We have been considering opening in the UK for some time. We have considerable customer growth in the area and we are committed to offering excellent customer experience and service. With the successful experience of the establishment of Almac Pacific, we decided it was time to make the move and open Almac Atlantic. We will be working directly with the market and have already established a series of collaborations for sales and service that we will be shortly announcing.”

The UK subsidiary has offically been up and running since 1 June, with its headquarters soon to be established.

A central aim of Almacrawler’s expansion is quality and brand alignment, added the company, with a shared business ethos across the board. “Almacrawler strongly believes in the creation of partnership and collaboration and sees itself more as a partner than a supplier. We are constantly working on holding ourselves to higher standards to ensure we not only deliver great products, but also a great overall experience,” said Oana Samoila, area manager for the UK, who will be working with Malcolm Kitt, UK sales manager, who has been working with the company for five years.

The expansion will also ensure the constant and direct availability of stock in the UK, along with a consolidated after sales service and support offering, quick and efficient spare parts management, with an increased participation in local trade shows and dedicated sector events and, subsequently, growth of the UK-based team.
