UK construction equipment rental company Anglian Plant has added a new Hinowa spider lift model to its hire fleet.

The company, which was established in 2009, provides both rental and sales services to customers across the east of England.

Its new Hinowa 14.70 Performance IIIS has a maximum working height of 14m and an outreach of 7m. The diesel-powered machine, which can also be operated off 110v AC mains power, was supplied by local dealer Access Platform Sales (APS).

While the tracked spider lift has a transport width of 780mm, this can be extended to 1086mm for added stability.

Joe Paterson, owner and managing director of Anglian Plant said, “We’re impressed with the Hinowa 14.70 in terms of its build quality, ease of use, and excellent performance characteristics.”

The new machine, which was provided by local dealer APS Sales, joins a rental equipment fleet that comprises excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, welfare units, access units and tools.

While Anglian Plant has invested around £5 million in 400 construction machines and 400 attachments since its founding, the past three years has seen the company double the size of its rental equipment fleet.

Paterson said, “The last 18 months have been a rollercoaster but, ultimately, a successful trading period. There have been many changes, both inside and outside the business, and we’ve emerged stronger and more efficient than we’ve ever been.”
