Bidadoo launches ‘mobile first’ auction app
30 July 2026
Bidadoo, the US equipment auction firm that uses eBay as its sales platform, has launched a “mobile-first” app to allow fleet managers to list machinery for sale from their smartphone.
The company says the app, SnapShop by Bidadoo, acts as an efficient “eBay on-ramp” helping sellers upload photos and machine data to be listed on eBay. Bidadoo uses a ‘sale-in-place’ model, with machines sold from their site location rather than from a physical auction.

Loren Carlson, VP of sales and business development at Bidadoo, said; “SnapShot by Bidadoo is the next step in [our] evolution, acting as an intuitive, high-speed on-ramp that supercharges our unique platform while paving the way for more exciting selling solutions to come.”
The App follows a five-step process:
- Download the app, capture asset details, photos, and video in the field.
- Submitted listing is reviewed by Bidadoo, which then creates the final listing.
- Listing goes live on Bidadoo and eBay’s online platforms.
- Marketing to end-user buyers.
- Bidadoo collects payment, coordinates transport logistics, and distributes returns to the seller.
Terry Sluder, a district service manager at Sunbelt Rentals, added; “The Snapshot by Bidadoo app is intuitive and easy to navigate, providing detailed information that supports efficient decision making.”
