Biglift provides support for Tour of Turkey

The 60th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey - the country’s most established and prestigious sporting event - once again captivated millions this year with world-class athletes, unique routes, and flawless organization.

Yet behind the success of this major event stood not only the athletes but also the technical strength of companies working behind the scenes. Among those proud contributors was Biglift Makine.

The established truck mounted aerial platform provider Biglift played a critical role in ensuring the safety and smooth progress of the tour by providing technical support with the Palfinger WT530, becoming one of the invisible heroes of the event.

Major logistics

The 53m working height platform was mainly used to support the uninterrupted live television coverage of the event, including camera crews and photographers. The WT530 also helped secure a stable signal by lifting transmission equipment to a higher level with better recpetion. 

Biglift Makine’s General Manager, Servet Ayhan, said, “It was a great honour for us to take part in the Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye, which has been held uninterruptedly for 60 years and has become a global brand.

At the closing ceremony, Biglift Makine was presented with a plaque of appreciation for its contributions to the organization. This meaningful award stands as proof that the company is a value-creating brand not only within the industry but also in Türkiye’s national and international projects.
