BiltData launches AI-powered sales tool for US construction equipment market

BiltData.ai has launched an AI-powered sales platform for construction equipment OEMs, dealers and rental companies in the US which it said will indentify far more opportunities than traditional data sources.

The Florida-based company said its platform reduces the construction industry’s reliance on incomplete public data – typically UCC filings – that capture “around a third” of buyers and skew towards smaller businesses.

BiltData said it looks beyond those records to reveal high-value fleets and sales and rental opportunities that would otherwise be hidden, then ranks them, sends them to an organisation’s sales operation, and measures the outcomes.

The technology firm said its own analysis showed that opportunities sourced through its platform convert four to six times more often than leads drawn from public records.

“Nearly 95% carry top-tier credit, compared with roughly a quarter of the businesses surfaced by traditional public-record data”, said BiltData, “And because value concentrates, focus pays: about one in five buyers accounts for roughly three-quarters of equipment spending.”

Nick Mavrick, founder and CEO of BiltData, said; “If you cannot see it, you cannot sell it. We show the industry the buyers, renters and projects that public records miss, rank them, and then prove what happens next.

“That’s the difference between a list and a predictive model, and it’s why no opportunity gets left behind. ‘In God we trust, all others must bring data.’ - W. Edwards Deming.”

BiltData cited a number of users of the platform in its press release.

Jeff Oldham, CEO of GT&E, a John Deere construction equipment dealer, said; “BiltData helps us identify the right opportunities, understand how well we’re executing, and see where future growth is likely to come from. Instead of simply looking backward at results, we’re making decisions with greater confidence about where to focus next.”

Frank Villella, CEO of GCIron, an OEM parts provider in the US, said; “With over 80,000 customers, our sales teams do not lose deals on big mistakes. They leak one inefficient call at a time, often off incomplete data, such as UCC filings.

“BiltData provides one single place to see the real priorities, and a predictive forecast that has grown our business substantially.”
