Italian scissor specialist, Iteco told AI that the company is seriously looking at developing a full range of articulated booms. The company hopes to be able to present the booms at Intermat 2009.

This announcement follows the company's recent launch of a new range of scissors, IT210, the first of which IT17210E was first seen at the recent APEX exhibition and which was also on show at SAIE in Bologna Italy.

At SAIE Iteco was keen to emphasis the range of its scissor products particularly those with niche applications. At the greatest working height was the 19 m IT17210 four-by-four drive, electric machines. In the 14 m working height range the narrow IT12122 and the IT12151 for indoor and outdoor applications were shown. The narrow manoeuvrable IT4680, 6.5 m working height machine with lateral platform extension and easy access doors demonstrated a machine suitable for warehousing and supermarket applications.
