Co.me.t’s Euroflag 45

Co.me.t Officine is launching into the firefighting aerial platform sector wtih a new product line, starting with the 45m working height Euroflag 45 model.

The Euroflag series is designed for firefighting and rescue operations in high-altitude scenarios, evacuations, fire control, and support for auxiliary equipment such as lighting or tool positioning and are suitable for a range of environments, from urban areas to industrial settings.

According to Co.me.t, basket and supplementary rescue ladder components facilitate access to hard-to-reach areas, while precise water and foam distribution systems ensure that responders have the necessary tools to suppress fires effectively.

Two other models are in development, with 35m and 55m working heights alongside the Euroflag 45, which is designed for three-axle trucks, starting from 26 tonne GVW. It can be configured in various modes and customised to meet specific requirements. Standard features include a telescopic arm with a jib and a side ladder for rescue operations.

Other benefits include a CAN bus control system that connects all hydraulic actuators and necessary safety control systems for machine operation, utilising the latest available technologies. The management system receives signals from control systems located at various points on the machine to establish its geometric configuration and load, enabling sequential movements with the required level of safety.

In addition to superior vertical and horizontal outreach and a spacious and versatile working platform, says the company, the machine can fully stabilise in just a few seconds with the auto-jacking function.
