CPL sets up talent partnership
30 January 2024
UK based vehicle mount supplier CPL has begun an internship programme, welcoming engineering students from a local college.
The initiative with Silverstone UTC, the leading engineering college in the UK county of Northamptonshire, reflects CPL’s drive to foster innovation and collaboration within the engineering community, said the company, and aims to provide students with hands-on experience, exposure to design technologies, and an opportunity to contribute to real-world projects in the access platform sector.
The program also offers an immersive experience in the design, development, and maintenance of access equipment, said CPL, which is part of the Klubb Group.
Interns will work closely with seasoned professionals and industry experts providing valuable insights and guidance to the next generation of engineering talent.
Paul Murphy, Managing Director of CPL, said, “We are thrilled to welcome the next generation of engineering talent to CPL. This internship program is designed to be a dynamic learning experience, offering students the opportunity to enhance their skills, and get a real understanding of working within an engineering business.
The access world is not as well known as F1, so we need to show budding engineers that there is a vast amount of opportunity here.”
