An electric model is joining the CTE Traccess tracked platform series. The 230E is a battery version of the 230. Reaching 23 m working height it is the tallest in the series and follows on from the 17 m working height Traccess 170E.

As with the combustion engine version, the 230E has a 23 m working height, 12 m outreach, 200 kg capacity, automatic four-working area stabilisation, basket load sensing, along with a 230 V AC CE electric hook-up in the basket.

A difference includes the electric 48 V, with 300 Ah lithium battery that provides up to five hours working. Travel speed is 0.6 km/h.

The 230E also includes a wireless radio housed in the basket which can be used to stabilise the platform from outside the basket, before the operator enters the basket to raise the boom.

For both versions gradeability is a maximum 31%, while the 2.1 m jib has a 10° working angle. The machine is 2.10 m high when folded for transport and is 5.3 m long.
