CTE Lift launches compact truck mount
14 June 2021
Italy-based CTE has expanded its Multipurpose range with the addition of the new MP 24 C truck mount.
Smaller than the company’s previous MP 32.19 machine, the new aerial platform is mounted on an Iveco Daily truck and measures 6.4m long and 2.8 high for easy transport.
According to CTE, which launched its new track Traccess 160 mounted platform in December of last year, the 3.5 tonne model’s double telescopic boom and jib offers a maximum working height of 24m and an outreach of 14m.
Incorporating three configurations, the MP 24 C is capable of up and over moverments and features CTE’s upgraded S3 EVO control console.
Described as a “real-time performance management system”, the S3 EVO stabilisation system controls all machine manoeuvres and manages its front and rear stabilisers - the latter of which incorporate hydraulic extension for “in shape and out of shape” work.
Marco Govoni, CTE sales director, said, “The Product Development path undertaken by CTE continues both with regards to the truck-mounted and spiders range, in this specific case we are going to enhance the MP line with a new model that presents extremely important compactness and performance characteristics enhanced by S3 EVO.”
The MP 24 C truck mount is equipped with a 250kg capacity basket and also comes with the CTE Connect telematics system.
This gives users access to fleet management functions, remote diagnostics, geolocation information and fleet management functions such as password customisation.
Govoni said, “We are now able to offer the market a truly complete range in the 3.5tons segment capable of meeting various needs with three different configurations, double articulation, telescopic, and double telescopic. We could not have given ourselves a better gift for our 40 years since the founding of CTE”.
The launch of the MP 24 C comes just months after that of the newly upgraded ZED 24.4 truck mounted platform.
