Dinolift has been awarded a silver level rating for sustainability following an assessment carried out by sustainability experts EcoVadis.
The Finland-based access equipment manufacturer participated in an evaluation last year, in which the company’s sustainability management system was reviewed, with environment, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement all key criteria that EcoVadis assessed.
Following the evaluation, EcoVadis, which conducts corporate assessments for companies globally, announced that the company reached the top 25 percent, enough to be awarded silver.
Karin Nars, Dinolift CEO, said, “ The silver level shows that we are on the right path and have focused on the right things, but we can always improve our game. From now on, we will see an increasing importance of corporate responsibility in Dinolift’s strategy.
“The goal is to improve Dinolift’s corporate responsibility program together with our stakeholders. In addition, we will develop our responsibility reporting. Already now, we are doing many things right, and we want to make that work visible in the reporting.”
Going forward, the company says it will focus on quality, customer focus, reliability, stable and sustainable growth and responsibility for the environment and personnel.
Nars said, “This work will be a strong foundation for the continuous development of our responsibility work. Responsibility should be visible in concrete actions and in the daily ways of working to become an integral part of the corporate culture and values.”
