EquipmentShare breaks ground on HQ expansion
12 October 2026
EquipmentShare has broken ground on an expansion to its corporate headquarters in Columbia, Missouri.
The new 70,000-square-foot, two-story facility – the third at the company’s campus at 5710 Bull Run Drive - will provide space for up to 300 staff and will include an executive business centre, large meeting and event spaces and a full-service cafeteria.
The company said that when completed in mid-2028 it will create the additional space required to fulfil its previously announced commitment of bringing 500 new jobs to the region.

The start of the project was marked by an event with EquipmentShare’s CEO, Jabbok Schlacks, alongside the director of Missouri Department of Economic Development and Columbia City mayor Barbara Buffaloe.
“Columbia has been our home from the very beginning, and breaking ground on this third building underscores our deep commitment to growing right here in Mid-Missouri,” said Schlacks.
“This state-of-the-art expansion provides room for up to 300 corporate team members, giving our workforce the space they need as we continue building the future of construction.
“We are grateful to our partners for their unwavering support in our continued success.”
When the new building is completed, the corporate campus will comprise three facilities totalling 170,000 square feet.
The site is close to the company’s first equipment rental branch and also its central distribution centre, which supplies parts, technology and consumables to customers and over 430 locations nationwide.
