EquipmentShare has opened a new $18 million Advanced Solutions rental facility in Rockdale, Illinois.

The company said the new 21,885sqft site will enhance support for customers in the greater Chicago area by offering technology-enabled rental solutions through its proprietary T3 platform.

The facility includes 10 service bays, an equipment showroom, a parts department, and a large training room. It will provide equipment for construction sites, events, municipalities, hospitals, and emergency response operations.

A grand opening ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 14, featuring a ribbon cutting, lunch, and tours of the 21,885-square-foot facility, with community members and the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce in attendance.

“This new branch allows us to better serve our customers in the greater Chicago area with the tools, technology and support they need to succeed,” said Jabbok Schlacks, CEO and co-founder of EquipmentShare.

“We’re proud to be a steady partner for contractors — bringing Advanced Solutions and local service together to help build the future of construction by improving safety, security and productivity for all.”

The Rockdale branch is the fourth EquipmentShare location in Illinois and is expected to employ 15 people. Five team members have already been hired, with additional roles to be filled, including technicians, drivers, and sales staff.

The facility launch also included a $2,500 donation to the Will County Habitat for Humanity’s Veterans Build Program, supporting home repair and accessibility efforts for local veterans.

“We’re grateful for EquipmentShare’s generous support and commitment to helping us build a stronger Will County community,” said Dayana Rodriguez, partner relations manager of Will County Habitat for Humanity.

Rockdale general manager Corie Kornerup, who brings nine years of experience to the role, added, “EquipmentShare truly embodies a People First mentality unlike any other I’ve encountered.

“The commitment to our core values of integrity, humility, drive and intelligence start at the top and extend to our customers. I am so proud of how far my team has come and excited for all that lies ahead.”
