Erik Olsson joins Herc Rentals board

Former Mobile Mini and RSC Equipment Rental executive Erik Olsson has joined the board of directors of Herc Holdings, parent company of Herc Rentals. Olsson, who joined on 18 August, will serve on the audit committee.
Most recently, Olsson was president and CEO of Mobile Mini, the portable storage rental business, becoming chairman before its 2020 merger with WillScot.

At RSC, he was president and CEO, ultimately guiding it through its US$4.2 billion acquisition by United Rentals in 2012.
Larry Silber, Herc’s CEO, said; “Erik has built a strong reputation as a transformational leader who drives results and executes strategic vision.
“We are confident that his experience and guidance will be a great asset to the board and our company.”
Olsson has also held board-level positions at Ritchie Bros and Dometic.
