Faresin and Borusan Cat sign telehandler agreement

Italian manufacturer Faresin Industries has signed an agreement with Borusan Cat – Caterpillar dealer in Turkey – to distribute Faresin’s telehandlers in the country, as well as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Under the agreement, which was signed on 24 February in Istanbul, Borusan Cat will be the exclusive distributor of the full Faresin telehandler range, covering agricultural, construction, industrial and rental markets.

The two companies said the deal was part of a “multi-year development plan with progressive and shared growth objectives, confirming the two companies’ willingness to invest in the long term”.

Aslan Hiçsolmaz, executive committee member for sales and operations at Borusan Cat, said; “This partnership with Faresin has allowed us to enter decisively into the telehandler segment, with both diesel and full electric models, offering a wide range of solutions capable of meeting our customers’ diverse operational needs.

“Leveraging our solid sales and support infrastructure, we aim to create long-term value in this segment as well.”

Borusan Cat is part of the Borusan Group, a large Turkish conglomerate active in sectors including energy, ports, automotive and manufacturing, in addition to its Caterpillar and FG Wilson dealerships.

Caterpillar launched a new range of US-style telehandlers in early 2025, for North and South America. It currently does not list telehandlers on its range of machines available in Europe.
