Faresin signs another Cat dealer agreement in Europe

Faresin has signed another sales agreement with a European Caterpillar dealer, this time with Bergerat Monnoyeur for the Belgian and Luxembourg markets.

The deal, signed on 23 July, follows an agreement with Bergerat Monnoyeur for France announced in May, as well as alliances with Zeppelin Group for Germany, Austria and Denmark, and with Borusan Cat in Turkey.

The Italian manufacturer produces a wide range of telescopic handlers, including some electric models. Bergerat Monnoyeur will hold exclusive distribution rights for the electric models in Belgium and Luxembourg, for construction and industrial markets.

Guillaume Schembri, managing director of Bergerat Monnoyeur Belgium and Luxembourg, said the deal extended the partnership between the two; “The goal is to offer customers a complete offering that combines the product, technical support, connected services, and local presence.”

Bergerat Monnoyeur said it was creating a dedicated organisation to support its sales and technical service network for France and to meet the needs of different markets.

The first public appearance of the Faresin and Bergerat Monnoyeur partnership will be at the Libramont Fair (24–26 July), where the FS7.40 Excellence telehandler with HVTronic CVT transmission will be displayed on the Bergerat Monnoyeur stand.

Bergerat Monnoyeur has been the Caterpillar dealer in Belgium and Luxembourg for 97 years. Its headquarters are located in Overijse, and it has five sales locations in the two countries. It also has a short- and long-term rental fleet.
