Golight has launched the GXL super-bright fixed LED work light

US manufacturer of auxiliary lighting products Golight has added LED options to its articulating spotlights, as well as launching a new range of LED work lights.

The company has introduced the new GXL super-bright fixed LED work light, for spot or flood configuration. The GXL body is composed of powder coated cast aluminium, which works to dissipate heat that is generated by the LED board.

Using LED helps increase the life of the light - with an output of 50,000 hours - as well as reducing power consumption. The light's beam is also optimized. The new Golight ranges use P-Vex lens technology, and offer a peak beam intensity of 200,000 candela. Moreover, the hotspot - the most intense portion of the beam - is distributed over three times the area of a comparable halogen model.

The LED spotlights can be purchased on new Golight and Radioray units or as a retrofit.
