GSR expands in Belgium

Italian truck-mounted platform manufacturer GSR has strengthened its presence in Belgium through a partnership with Lauwereys Bvba, a Ranst-based company active since the 1990s in the sales and rental of aerial work platforms.

Lauwereys, gsr, GSR B220TJ Lauwereys chose the B220TJ platform for its first delivery, a model chosen for its high performance and operational versatility, the company said.

As of July 2025, Lauwereys became an official GSR dealer, adding direct sales and technical support for GSR products to its services.

The partnership is aimed at expanding GSR’s market reach in Belgium by enhancing proximity and continuity in sales and after-sales service.

“With Lauwereys, we’ve found a partner that shares our values of reliability and customer commitment,” GSR stated. “We are confident this collaboration will allow us to bring even more value to our Belgian customers, ensuring professional consultancy services as well as strong and continuous after-sales support.”

GSR said the agreement will allow the company to provide equipment that meets local regulatory standards while maintaining high levels of technical support.

The first result of the partnership is the delivery of a GSR B220TJ platform, selected by Lauwereys for its versatility and performance. The model offers a lateral outreach of up to 14 meters and a maximum cage capacity of 250 kilograms, combining a telescopic boom with a 2.4-meter jib. Mounted on a 3.5-ton chassis, the machine can be used across a range of applications.

Lauwereys said it chose the model to distinguish its offering from conventional telescopic platforms, with the jib configuration providing greater flexibility for end users.
