GSR swaps chassis with new lift

Premium Content

Italy-based GSR has presented a 22m working height truck mount, installed on a new chassis.

The B220TJ CF XEE was shown at Vertikal days in the UK this month and is installed on a 3.5 tonne Iveco Daily 35S14H.

Previously the lift was mounted on a Mercedes Sprinter vehicle as it was intended for markets requiring a more sophisticated machine. By installing it on the Iveco, it has become more competitive in price without losing its overall quality.

Features include the working height of 22m and basket capacity of 250kg. Worthy of note is the lateral outreach of up to 14m with 80kg in the basket.

Boom combination

It is the first model of the TJ range that combines the high-performance telescopic arm with the end-mounted basket and 2.40m jib, with a maximum angle of 140°.

The combination allows obstacles to be overcome easily and for the basket to be positioned in the most difficult to reach spots.

The platform and vehicle combination also allows versatile use, along with automatic variable stabilization of the four vertical extendable stabilizers that are designed to optimize performance with the compact size of the unit. There is also a home function.

The structure is light in respect of the weight but carefully designed to be robust and well-balanced, also allowing easy driving on the road like a normal car.

The multifunction joystick control in the basket combines with the latest generation safety system.

Also on show

One of the models exhibited by GSR at Vertikal Days was the B220PXE. It has a double ‘up-and-over’ articulation that allows agile work in any situation. It has an outreach of 11.40m with a capacity of 80kg in the basket; the maximum working height is 21.70m with a maximum capacity in the basket of 250kg
