Paul Shockey one of the founders of JLG.

One of the founders of JLG, Paul Shockey died on 18 September at the Quincy Retirement Home near Greencastle Pennsylvania.

Mr Shockey began his working life at Landis Tool Co and then went to work at Grove Manufacturing. In 1969, he, John Grove and Ben Stevens bought the business that would later become JLG.

Mr Shockey remained a director at JLG until his retirement in 1995

Mr Shockey is survived by his wife Anna, two sons, Kenneth and James, two sisters, three granddaughters, five great grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
