JLG previews boom upgrade

JLG Industries is previewing its new 860SJ+ telescopic boom lift at ConExpo.

Building on the existing 860SJ platform, the 860SJ+ delivers expanded lifting capability, enhanced operator functionality and new serviceability features.

Enhanced productivity 

The 860SJ+ is engineered to help operators maximize time at height through a combination of performance upgrades and operator-focused design enhancements, including:

• Ability to transport more materials and personnel compared to traditional capacity machines
• Strong outreach performance to support maximized platform capacity
• Offers additional machine positioning and operator flexibility to maneuver around complex job sites and obstacles at height more efficiently
• Ability to run high-powered welding equipment directly from the platform when configured with approved power options
• Advanced Serviceability and Uptime Features

The 860SJ+ incorporates several design enhancements intended to simplify maintenance and help keep machines operating at peak performance, including improved access to service points and centralized maintenance components to support efficient troubleshooting and serviceability.

The machine also integrates JLG’s advanced connectivity capabilities, including ClearSky Smart Fleet IoT (Internet of Things) platform, helping fleet managers and operators monitor machine performance.
