Kiloutou acquires in north-eastern Spain

Kiloutou has agreed to buy Clavería Servicios, a 40-year old rental business based in Binéfar, Huesca, east of Zaragoza in Spain.

Claveria rents aerial work platforms, earthmoving machinery and truck-mounted cranes, as well as specialised transport services, and has more than 110 employees. Its seven depots are in Binéfar, Monzón, Barbastro, Huesca, Fraga, Sabiñánigo and Torrefarrera (Lleida).

Carlos Clavería, the son of the founder Luis Clavería, will continue to lead the business under the Kiloutou brand.

It is Kiloutou’s second acquisition in Spain in two months and the fifth in the past fifteen months. The deal will push Kiloutou’s annual revenues in Spain beyond €100 million and place it in the top three rental businesses in the country.

Strategically, Kiloutou said Claveria would create a connection between Aragón and Catalonia, establishing a service corridor for industrial and construction customers in north-eastern Spain. Kiloutou Spain will now have 75 depots and 640 employees.

Over the past 15 months Kiloutou Spain has acquired ToolQuick, Gloobal, Liftisa, Mavyal and Zelai, and now Clavería Servicios.

Kiloutou group operates in France, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Poland and Portugal, employing7000 people and with 600 branches.
