Flat sales in France for Kiloutou in the third quarter of the year were offset by growth in its international business. The company said its profits remained resilient in the face of a “persistently challenging environment”.

Total revenues were up 4.68% to €333.5 million, with EBITDA slightly down at €138.7 million. Sales in France, which represents 59% of the total, were unchanged year-over-year at €194.6 million but with EBITDA profit under pressure, down 6.1% at €84.4 million.

Europe’s third largest general rental company reported a 11.8% increase in its international revenues to €138.9 million – including the impact of acquisitions – and EBITDA was up 10.0% to €54.5 million.

Kiloutou has 646 branches and 6800 employees in seven European countries.

The company has trimmed its fleet spending in response to the economic climate. For the first nine months of the year its gross fleet expenditure was €171.2 million, down a quarter of the same period in 2024.

Fleet disposals have also been scaled back, more than halving from €98.6 million in 2024 to €39.3 million for the first 9 months of 2025.

The company reported a 37.3% resale ratio (disposal price as a proportion of original cost), which it described as a high level.

Olivier Colleau, CEO of Kiloutou Group, said; “Despite a persistently challenging environment, particularly within the construction segment, we successfully delivered revenue growth and maintained solid organic momentum.

“Our Q3 rental EBITDA margin proved resilient, supported by revenue growth of 4.6% and Rental EBITDA up by 3.3%. Furthermore, our debt ratio slightly decreased to 3.77x, reflecting disciplined financial management.
