08 October 2026
Software firm Klipboard – which includes the formerly branded InspHire rental software – has acquired Linxup, a US-based fleet management platform that currently has around 240,000 connected devices in operation in the US and Canada.
Founded in 2004 and based in St Louis, Missouri, Linxup offers cloud-based fleet and field service tools, including vehicle tracking, AI-enabled dashcams, tool and equipment tracking, driver behaviour monitoring and driver and vehicle compliance.
It serves around 25,000 customers operating in logistics, distribution, equipment rental, construction and heavy equipment, HVAC and plumbing, landscaping, transportation and utilities.

The acquisition will add to Klipboard’s field service management expansion in North America, following the early-2025 acquisition of RAM Tracking, and strengthens its position providing software for small and medium sized businesses.
Ian Bendelow, CEO of Klipboard, said the deal would significantly boost its presence in North American and broaden its field service offering.
“The Linxup team bring expertise and resources that will make an important contribution to our continued growth”, he said.
“Given our broad product set at Klipboard, [we] will offer additional services and solutions to the Linxup customers, [and] bring even more innovation and tools to our joint customer base.”
The CEO of Linxup, Drew Reynolds, said the acquisition capped “a sustained period of growth alongside our partners at Spectrum Equity, and opens an exciting new chapter for Linxup, our employees and our customers.”
He added; “Our customers will continue to benefit from the fleet management solutions they rely on today, while gaining access to a broader range of complementary software products and expertise.”
Klipboard has offices in the UK, Europe, USA, South Africa and Australia. It has customers in 74 countries and now has nearly 1,900 employees globally.
