Klubb to debut ‘cutting edge’ chassis mount at APEX

Klubb will debut the PT 280 truck mounted platform at APEX, taking place in June, which maximises working height and outreach on a 3.5 tonne chassis.

The 28m working height model is designed to be lightweight combined with a high level of performance. Developed by the Italian and French teams at Klubb Group, the PT 280 offers a basket capacity of 250kg for two operators plus equipment, maximum side outreach of 13.4m, with 80kg in the basket, a rear outreach of 17.5m, again with 80kg in the basket, and turret rotation of 400°.

The platform is mounted on a 3.5 tonne Mercedes Sprinter and can be driven with a standard Category B license. It is also equipped with a 4.3 inch colour screen, which provides real-time information and ensures the operator is able to learn the new machine quickly.

Thanks to its proportional controls, the PT 280 allows for simultaneous, fluid movements and comes with a range of safety features as standard, including capacitive sensors to provide the dead man safety function.

“This cutting-edge system prevents any risk of accidental operation, providing optimal protection for the operator in the field,” said the manufacturer.

Production of the PT 280 is scheduled to begin in October 2026, with the first deliveries expected in the final quarter of the year.

The machine will be presented on the Klubb stand during APEX, 2-4 June, in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
