One of the largest airline service companies in Korea has added a substantial - but undisclosed - number of electric powered aerial platforms from Dingli to its fleet.

Sharp Aviation K, which provides aircraft maintenance and repair, in-flight catering, ground handling, fuelling and cargo services to 11 major airlines across eight airports, ordered a range of the zero emission models as part of efforts to reduce its carbon footprint.

Jackie Han, Dingli sales director for the Asia Pacific region, said, “At present, the first batch of new energy aerial work platforms mainly contains modular electric booms, large electric scissors and dozens of small scissors, and we will provide new energy equipment with more complete working height coverage in the future.”

China-based Dingli said the order is further evidence that its fully electric equipment range, which also offers zero noise emissions, is becoming increasingly popular for use on international construction projects.

“The penetration rate of Dingli equipment in various international construction projects around the world has been increasing, and the market response of new energy aerial work platform is getting better and better,” said Dingli.
