UK technology company Krank has entered the Middle East market through a partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Dayim Equipment Rental that will see the companies launch the Dayim Marketplace digital platform.

The platform allows Dayim to manage its used equipment sales directly while connecting with buyers locally and internationally.

Listings can be made available globally, within the GCC area (Gulf Cooperation Council, comprising Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates), or to selected customers, providing a digital alternative to traditional broker-based sales processes.

For Dayim, the platform will also serve as a tool to improve transparency, efficiency, and buyer access, the company said.

Ian Shaw, vice president of commercial at Dayim Equipment Rental, commented, “This collaboration allows customers to access Dayim’s quality-assured fleet through a trusted digital platform, reflecting our commitment to innovation and customer value.

“By integrating Krank’s innovative technology with Dayim’s industry expertise, we are making it easier for customers to source reliable used equipment with confidence while driving a more sustainable lifecycle for our assets.”

The platform is already integrated into Dayim’s operations, featuring live inventory including a 2025 Genie S-85 Telescopic Boom and a fully serviced 2014 JLG 1250AJP.

David McCarthy, head of sales at Krank, said, “Working with Dayim has been a fantastic collaborative experience which has been a team effort from the start. Together we’ve delivered a cutting-edge marketplace in record time, reflecting what’s possible when two forward-thinking companies combine their expertise.”

McCarthy also highlighted the scale of opportunity in Saudi Arabia, driven by infrastructure investment and Vision 2030 initiatives, and described Dayim as the company’s first customer in the region.
