UK access rental specialist, the Lavendon Group has completed its rebranding programme with Higher Platforms becoming part of the Panther brand. Higher Platforms has brought three established branches to the company now called Panther Thirsk, Panther Basildon and Panther Cannock.

The three depots bring a fleet of 450 machines to Panther - including what is believed to be the largest range of gas powered machines in Europe. Panther now has a total of 3600 units available from 13 depots. Lavendon's Panther brand focuses on local reputation and close customer relationships.

Leigh Farmer, Panther's Midlands and North managing directorsaid, "Since starting Higher Platforms in 1992, the company has supplied a unique range of powered access equipment from its strong regional branches; these established branches can now bring the benefits of Panther's national experience to our staff suppliers and customers and continue to supply a local, reliable powered access service."

Panther Group managing director, Richard Miller, said "Higher Platforms along with Kestrel Powered Access and AMP Access, bring the new Panther structure to completion. Leigh Farmer has been appointed as Panther North and Midlands managing director, and will be working with the strong teams based at Panther Thirsk, Panther Haydock, Panther Lincoln, Panther Droitwich and the regional head office, Panther Cannock."
