Leadership change at Kiloutou Spain

Ramón Santamaría has become the new managing director of Kiloutou Spain, succeeding Cyril Brillouet, who led the business for five years and is now returning to France where he will join Kiloutou Group’s international department.

Santamaria has been operations director at Kiloutou Spain since October last year and had previously spent three years as managing director of access rental company Liftisa, before its acquisition by Kiloutou last year.

Kiloutou said Brillouet, during his five years as leader, had overseen a period of strong growth at the company and managed the integration of several acquisitions.

The company added that his new role within the group will further strengthen the connection between Kiloutou Spain and the company’s international operations.

Brillouet said the change closed an important chapter in his professionally and personal life; “It has been a privilege to be part of Kiloutou Spain’s growth and to work alongside a team that has demonstrated an enormous capacity to evolve, integrate new companies and take on new challenges.

“I leave extremely proud of what we have achieved and reassured that I am leaving the business in Ramón’s hands. I know him well and have complete confidence in his ability to lead this new chapter.”

Santamaría said he was taking on the new role with enthusiasm “and with the ambition to continue growing and leading the equipment rental market in Spain.

“We have made enormous progress with our integration and are now beginning a new phase in which we want to continue growing, simplify the way we work and make full use of all the knowledge and specialist expertise that exists within Kiloutou Spain.”
