Leguan Lifts enters New Zealand

Finnish spider lift specialist Leguan Lifts continues its expansion in Oceania with the appointment of Avant Equipment New Zealand as its new official distributor in the country.

The collaboration with Avant Equipment NZ marks an important step in expanding the company’s global footprint to serve the growing demand in Oceania, said Leguan Lifts, which is part of the Avant Tecno Group.

Avant Equipment New Zealand is a division of Glenbrook Machinery and has been the New Zealand importer and distributor for Avant loaders since 2004. Metrohire, also part of Avant Equipment NZ, will introduce Leguan spider lifts into its hire fleet, offering new rental opportunities to its customers.

Leguan has sold its lifts into Australia since 1997, where they have been used by arborists and utility companies, and now the company said it is the next natural step to New Zealand, where the country’s hilly terrain and demanding climate make it an ideal market for Leguan’s all-terrain spiders.

“Our lifts are developed in close cooperation with international customers to ensure every detail supports real-world performance,” said Jori Mylläri, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Leguan Lifts.

By continuously integrating feedback from experienced operators in diverse climates, from Nordic winters to Oceania’s heat, Leguan aims to ensure its equipment stays ahead of industry expectations. “This results in spider lifts that help professionals complete projects faster, with less downtime and higher efficiency.”
