Lift Safe low level launch
03 August 2021
A low level access platform makes its UK trade show debut this September.
Lifting equipment specialist Lift Safe is showcasing one of its new range of mobile access platforms at the PPMA 2021 Show. The self propelled MA50 is designed for use by one person, providing a maximum working height of five metres. Manufactured in Sweden, existing customers include IKEA, Saab, Astra Zeneca, and ABB.
The MA50 has automatic parking brakes and can be fully elevated in 16 seconds. Weighing just 380kg, it is designed for working on floors with low weight-bearing capabilities. The compact machine easily passes through standard doorways and can be transported between floors in passenger elevators. Quiet and clean, it runs on 12V battery power and noise is restricted to a maximum of 70 decibels (dB).
Along with the MA50, Lift Safe is exhibiting a variety of stainless steel and IP-rated lifting equipment, as well as a range of reel and roll lifters, plus the Orbit 0.5T swivel floor crane. This is a heavy-duty, 270° swivel crane with a lift capacity of 500kg, making it easy to lift and position moulds and spare parts. It is also ideal for placing products on presses, lathes and milling machines.
Jerry Hanss, managing director of Lift Safe, said: “Both the MA50 and Orbit 0.5T help to enhance safety and productivity on production and assembly lines. They can add real value to processing and packaging applications.”
Based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, Lift Safe offers a comprehensive range of pedestrian-controlled and ride-on material handling machinery, including mobile lifters and stackers, as well as scissor tables and counterbalance trucks. These battery-powered machines are used to enhance safety and productivity in a range of industrial and commercial applications, from food and pharma factories to hotels and conference venues.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Lift Safe provides nationwide UK product support and after-sales service.
PPMA is the UK’s leading free to attend show for the processing and packaging machinery and automation sectors. It takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, 28th-30th September. Visit Lift Safe on stand F74.
