The Sweden-based lifting specialist, with a fleet of 4,300 units, has invested in 50 new booms, most of which are JLGs, with working heights ranging from 20 - 45m (65-150 ft), and will be aimed at multiple applications in the construction, installation and maintenance industries. They include electric and combustion engine units, that meet the latest emission standards, with the combustion engine machines using the renewable HVO 100 fuel. The company declined to confirm which other brands were part of the order.

“Kranpunkten is continuing to invest for the future, even in a more cautious construction climate,” said the company. “Thanks to a broad and stable customer base and a sustained need for reliable lifting equipment, the company is able to further strengthen its fleet.”

The investment is part of Kranpunkten’s long-term strategy to modernise its fleet and ensure strong capacity nationwide. By continuing to invest even during tougher times, the company said it is well prepared for an increase in demand once the market picks up again.

“We continue to update our fleet with modern machines and the latest technology. This investment strengthens our offering and ensures that our customers have access to the most efficient lifting solutions on the market. We may also be seeing early signs that the market is beginning to move in the right direction,” said Rikard Jönsson, Purchasing Manager at Kranpunkten.

The machine deliveries, which have already begun, are scheduled to be completed by March 2026
