MEC Aerial Work Platforms has appointed a new vice president of business development.

Paul Waller, who has joined the company with 25 years of experience in the industry, will focus his efforts on growing strategic partnerships and expanding the company into new growth opportunities.

“Through his vast industry experience, Paul brings a strong foundation for continued partnership with MEC customers as well as developing new relationships,” said David White, president of MEC.

Most recently Waller has worked for JCB Access, Sinoboom, Skyjack and Genie, having been with the latter for more than 11 years until 2019. His experience includes managing and developing regional market plans.

“We are excited to have him focus that same strength, knowledge, and customer focus to the MEC sales team. He understands the value and innovation MEC business brings to our customers and the industry overall,” added White.

Waller will be attending ConExpo in Las Vegas this month. “I am very excited to join the team at MEC and help continue the company’s amazing growth,” said Waller. “We are focused on growing MEC’s reputation for innovation, safety and efficiency in the industry.”
