Mollo Group is strengthening its presence in the northern Emilia-Romagna of Italy through a strategic partnership with Ruini Marco Group, acquiring a majority stake in the rental company.

Ruini Marco Group specialises in the rental and sale of renting aerial platforms, lifting equipment, earthmoving machinery, forklifts and construction site equipment.

The company has more than 40 years of experience in the sector and has developed a strong presence across the region through its seven locations and workforce of more than 70 employees. In 2025, the business generated revenue of more than €12 million.

The agreement will see Ruini retain its existing management team and operational autonomy, with founder Marco Ruini continuing to support the company as it develops under the new partnership.

“The addition of Ruini to Mollo Group marks a significant milestone in our growth journey and further strengthens our presence in Emilia-Romagna,” said Mauro Mollo, president of Mollo Group, which he leads alongside his brother Roberto.

“Over more than forty years of business, Ruini has built expertise, relationships, and deep local knowledge, while simultaneously developing a highly comprehensive range of offerings.

“We recognise many of the values that have driven our own growth in these characteristics. Our goal is to grow together, creating new synergies and continuing to provide our customers with proximity, expertise, and an increasingly comprehensive, high-quality service.”

For Ruini, the partnership provides an opportunity to broaden the solutions available to customers while maintaining the local presence and continuity that have been central to the business.

“After more than forty years of our company’s history, we have chosen to embark on this journey with Mollo because we share their industrial vision and the commitment to service quality that has always distinguished Ruini Marco Group,” said Ruini.

“Joining a group of this scale allows us to offer our customers an even wider range of solutions while maintaining strong ties to the local area and the people who have built this journey alongside us. I will continue to support the company on its path forward, ensuring the operational and management continuity that our customers and employees expect.”
