Mollo reaches depot milestone with acquisition

Italy-based rental company Mollo Group has acquired the rental division of Truck Mobil, marking its first entry into the Marche region. No financial details of the transaction have been disclosed.

Truck Mobil, founded in 2000 and based in the province of Ascoli Piceno, operates two locations in San Benedetto del Tronto and Monteprandone.

The company specialises in lifting and earthmoving equipment, aerial lifting services, and also offers power generation equipment, compressors, compactors, and asphalt cutters.

Mauro Mollo, president of the Mollo Group, said, “Truck Mobil shares fundamental values with us, such as professionalism, trust and customer focus. Its long experience and in-depth knowledge of the territory represent an important asset for our Group.

Mollo said the acquisition is part of its ongoing external growth strategy and marks its first entry into the Marche region.

The move expands the company’s national network to 80 centres across Italy and follows its acquisition of the Sovecar Group’s rental division at the end of 2024.
