New 90m Ruthmann for Spain rental

Spanish large truck mounted aerial platform specialist Alberto Piñeiro Lift (APL) has expanded its fleet with a 90m working height Ruthmann Steiger T 900 HF.

This new 90m machine is the third T 900 HF that APL has added to its rental fleet of truck mounts that now comprises 13 units.

It is mounted on a 500 hp Scania XT chassis, and through its Vertical and Horizontal modes allows the maximum working height and a lateral reach of up to 42m, as well as work in negative areas.

APL has offices in Galicia, Andalusia and the Valencia region and operates nationally and internationally, particularly in the industrial and energy sectors, such as wind turbine maintenance and the construction and maintenance of large infrastructure projects.

Other features of the T 900 HF includes High-flex, enabling flexible up-over-back operation thanks to the basket’s 440° rotation and the boom’s 220° rotation. The new unit also features the manufacturer’s DRS system, which can be used to program different wind speeds, pressure settings on the stabilisers and load capacities in the basket.

Alberto Piñeiro, managing director of the company, opted for this model once again thanks to its versatility across all types of work over recent years, he said.

In addition, the spare parts supply is excellent - deliveries from the central warehouse never take longer than one working day,” added Piñeiro.
