New director for Alta Equipment

US-based equipment rental company Alta Equipment has appointed industry veteran Colin Wilson to its board of directors. 

Wilson has spent more than 40 years in the material handling sector, including roles with Hyster-Yale Group (formerly NACCO Materials Handling Group), Hyster-Yale and the Materials Handling Institute of America (MHI), where he was chairman and board member.

He has also served as a member of the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association’s Board of Advisors (MHEDA) and as President of the British Industrial Truck Association (BITA).
