New narrow slab scissor joins Skyjack range

Skyjack has launched the new SJ3232 E electric drive scissor lift, representing the newest model in the Canadian manufacturer’s range of slab scissors.

The narrow width and machine length of only 91.5in (2.32 m) make the SJ3232 E suitable when height and compact performance are needed, said the company. No stabilizers also mean the SJ3232 E, is drivable at full height. 

With a working height of 37ft 7in (11.46m) and a load capacity of 550lbs (249kg), the unit, is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and has an intelligent adaptive variable speed rear-wheel brushless electric drive system, providing exceptional duty cycles, a smooth automatic transition from high to low speed on a grade, and 25% gradeability. Fully proportional drive and lift controls are also features.

The model offers a one-person outdoor wind-rating with no stabilizers required, while the all-steel, anti-slip platform provides a large working area while minimizing space between platform and workface. The platform incorporates multiple lanyard attachment points and a manually operated 3in (0.90m) roll-out extension deck. The modular rail system easily folds down to reduce stowed height for transportation.
