Palfinger engineer joins APSR in the UK

The UK-based Access Platform Service & Repairs (APSR) has appointed Brian Petrie as Palfinger Engineer, bringing 37 years of experience in the powered access industry to the role.

Petrie career spans a wide range of access equipment, from Simon RA120 van mounted platforms to Palfinger Platforms self propelled booms and scissor lifts reaching working heights of up to 103 metres.

He began his career with Scot Trust Plant Hire in 1989, before moving on to PTP Aerial Platform, Brogan Access, Outreach Access and NSS Hire Ltd.

During his time at NSS Hire, Petrie became involved in service support for Palfinger Platforms through UK vehicle mount supplier CPL, developing valuable experience with the manufacturer’s equipment.

Petrie said, “I’m delighted to be joining APSR and becoming part of the team. With my experience working with Palfinger Platforms over the years, I’m looking forward to this next chapter and helping deliver the high level of support customers expect.”
